Terms and Conditions

Assumed risks

Participants acknowledge that canoeing, kayaking and paddleboarding are assumed risk activities.

Disclosure

Prior to the activity participants will make the Coach assigned to them aware of any illnesses, medical conditions, injuries, issues and concerns that may impact on their ability to participate or the Coach’s ability to ensure their safety.

Cancellation policy

Where a client cancels a booking less than a month before the activity River Hamble Adventures is not obliged to refund.

Where River Hamble Adventures cancels an activity, the client will be entitled to a full refund.

Equipment

River Hamble Adventures does not take responsibility for the verifying the suitability or state of repair of the participants’ equipment.

Decision making

Participants accept the Coach’s authority to make decisions affecting the group or individuals and agree to abide by those decisions.  These decisions may include requiring an individual or individuals to leave the activity if the Coach believes that a person or persons health is at risk or the participant(s) behaviour has been or may become detrimental to the safety, enjoyment or well-being of the group.

Photos and videos

Unless notified otherwise it will be assumed that participants consent to photos and videos from River Hamble Adventures activities being used for promotional reasons. This material will not be passed to third parties.
